Gastroenterologist | Full-TimeLocation: Hilton Head, South CarolinaA well-established, nonprofit healthcare organization in the Hilton Head, South Carolina area is actively seeking a full-time Gastroenterologist to join its expanding digestive health team. This opportunity offers a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient care, with the ability to perform endoscopic procedures while working alongside a collaborative team of specialists in a modern healthcare environment.Position Overview• Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of gastrointestinal disorders• Maintain a balanced practice consisting of both inpatient consultations and outpatient clinic care• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including upper endoscopy (EGD) and colonoscopy• Manage a wide range of digestive diseases involving the esophagus, stomach, liver, pancreas, gallbladder, small bowel, and colon• Collaborate closely with hospitalists, primary care physicians, surgeons, oncologists, and specialty teams• Utilize an integrated EMR system to maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation• Participate in shared call coverage as part of a collaborative GI teamQualifications• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology• Eligible for South Carolina medical licensure• Active or eligible DEA registration• ERCP and/or EUS experience is welcomed but not required• Strong procedural, clinical, communication, and patient-centered care skillsCompensation & BenefitsCompensation is competitive and includes productivity incentives.Comprehensive benefits package includes:Health, dental, and vision insurancePaid Time Off (PTO)CME allowance and paid CME timeMalpractice insurance with tail coverageRetirement planRelocation assistanceAbout the OrganizationThis large, integrated nonprofit healthcare system is recognized for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care across multiple hospitals and outpatient practices.
