It is how we do our business and an essential component in all of our interactions with our patients and with each other.The Practice Manager is responsible for providing strong leadership and management of all clinical and non-clinical team members to ensure quality customer service delivery within all operational aspects of the practice(s) in support of Horizon Health and Wellness’ strategies, goals, and culture. The position is responsible for the management of all day-to-day operations of front and back-office procedures, including, but not limited to, scheduling, data collection, payment collections, billing, document scanning, vaccine and medication management, patient referrals, and procedures.**Please note, this position is responsible for covering three clinic locations, Florence, Oracle and Globe.QualificationsMinimum of three (3) years medical office management experience.Knowledge and experience working with Electronic Medical Records and Microsoft Office Software.Must be at least 21 years of age or older.Possess a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and reliable transportation.Knowledge of State and Federal regulations as it relates to Health Care.Willingness to work nights and weekends on an emergency basis.Demonstrable theoretical knowledge in the field.Must obtain and maintain a fingerprint card and pass a background check.SkillsStrong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate with Physicians, other medical professionals, office personnel employees and patients.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Computer literacy and knowledge of relevant health care and administrative softwareGood leadership, motivation, training, and goal-setting skillsFinancial and business acumen skillsIn-depth knowledge of health care finance best practices and standardOrganization and time management skillsMental and EmotionalAbility to prioritize workload.Strong organizational skills.Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy.Sound judgment and decision-making ability.Ability to maintain calm, non-defensive, supportive attitude during difficult interactions.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to analyze variables and situations.Ability to resolve problems, handles conflict and make effective decisions under pressure.Ability to think on his/her feet in the public spotlight.PhysicalExtended periods of sitting, ability to bend, lift and carry up to 50 pounds.Able to operate phone, Fax, copier, and a computer.Able to operate Agency vehicle.Qualifications PreferredBachelor’s Degree preferred.Bilingual English/SpanishMinimum of 2 years supervisory experience.Knowledge of The Joint Commission (TJC) policies. #J-18808-Ljbffr Paycom - ATS
