Warehouse Inventory Controller - Aviation Parts

Reporting into Aircraft Materials, the Warehouse Inventory Controller is responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, traceability, and dispatch of aircraft parts, tooling, consumables, and general inventory at our Katy, Texas facility — ensuring full documentary compliance with aviation standards while keeping the warehouse organized, audit-ready, and efficient. Receive, inspect, and log all incoming aircraft parts, tools, consumables, and general inventory against purchase orders and delivery notes. Maintain accurate inventory records in the company's ERP/inventory management system; perform regular cycle counts and reconciliation. Coordinate with procurement, MRO, and finance to ensure parts traceability and complete documentation (airworthiness tags, certificates, CoCs). Organize and manage warehouse layout to optimize space, accessibility, and safety; label and bin all stock in line with company SOPs. Process outgoing shipments and transfers; prepare shipping documentation including packing lists and freight manifests. Maintain a clean, organized, compliant warehouse environment and support periodic audits. Onboard new inventory items and help develop and improve inventory-control procedures. Report discrepancies, damage, or shortages promptly to the reporting manager. Requirements & Qualifications High school diploma required; associate degree or vocational certification in logistics, supply chain, or a related field preferred. Minimum 2 years' experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or stock management. Proficiency with inventory/ERP software; comfortable working with spreadsheets. Familiarity with aviation parts documentation (8130-3, CoC, airworthiness tags) highly desirable. Forklift certification, or willingness to obtain; able to operate warehouse equipment safely. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks in a warehouse setting. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Benefits & Entitlements Competitive hourly compensation, reviewed annually based on performance.
