**Experience Required:** - 2 years of experience required - Preferred 1-2 specific experiences, but first-time travelers accepted **Certifications Required:** - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - BLS (Basic Life Support) - NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) - PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) **Skills Required:** - Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal - BiPAP/CPAP management - Blood Product Administration - Care of Ventilated Patient - Central line care/management - Chronic/Acute Renal failure - CVA/Acute Stroke management - GI surgery - High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) - Infection Prevention - Interpretation of dysrhythmias - Isolation Precautions/PPE - IV insulin protocols - Management of dysrhythmias - Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure - Medical Intensive Care Unit - PICC line management - Pre/Post Cardiac Cath/intervention - Pulmonary embolism - Respiratory failure - Starting and maintaining IVs - Titrate Cardiac drips - Titrate Vasoactive drips **Clinical Experience/Unit Details:** - ICU and Progressive Care handling patients needing pressors, sedation, thrombolytic therapy - Cardiac monitoring, cardiac drips, hemodynamic monitoring, and ventilator/BiPAP support - Perform bedside procedures like chest tube placement, intubation, cardioversions, lumbar punctures, thoracentesis, and may require conscious sedation **Licensure Requirement:** - A valid state license not required at submission but must be obtained before starting **Additional Requirements:** - Must complete up to 8 hours of modules within 1 week of signing for Witham (Preferred) - Must be gone 3 years before returning as a traveler **Flu and COVID-19 Vaccination:** - COVID-19 Vaccine required, with medical/religious exemptions only - Flu Vaccine required, with medical/religious exemptions only
