Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical (Renal)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to an adult and geriatric population on a Renal Medical Surgical unit
• Manage a patient assignment of 5–6 patients within a 49-room unit averaging a daily census of 48
• Utilize Epic for electronic health record documentation and Pyxis for medication management
• Communicate effectively using SBAR methodology with interdisciplinary team members
• Float within the facility and within scope of practice as needed
• Work every other weekend and fulfill holiday obligations per assignment schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license
• Minimum 1 year of Registered Nurse experience (first-time travelers accepted)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency with Epic (required) and Pyxis
• All requested time off must be finalized at time of submission; no schedule changes permitted post-offer or post-start
• Full compliance with onboarding requirements; all compliance documents due by the Tuesday prior to start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Renal Medical Surgical setting
• Familiarity with high-census, fast-paced inpatient environments
