As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to reports, and deliver standout customer service and communication. What You’ll Do Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology campus or data-driven workplace. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and notifying site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, work areas, loading zones, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations. Monitor access points and support access control processes, including checking credentials, managing visitor sign-in, and directing deliveries and/or service providers according to site requirements. Use security-related systems and tools such as CCTV, alarms, and radios, and complete routine reports and shift handoffs in accordance with post orders. Minimum Requirements Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred. Access control and/or badge experience preferred. CPR and/or First Aid certification preferred. Loss prevention experience preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
