Project Manager

Key Responsibilities Oversee overall contract activities, including all project management components supporting: Drive alignment with approved project timelines, deliverables, and milestones. Lead full project lifecycle activities from initiation through implementation, deployment, and closeout. Ensure adherence to approved project management methodologies, standards, and best practices. Act as the primary point of contact and liaison between Vendor teams, State’s leadership, Assigned State’s Project Manager, IEPA Legal and compliance teams. Coordinate closely with State’s Project Sponsors, stakeholders, and cross-functional project team members. Prepare and deliver executive-level status reports, dashboards, and presentations. Facilitate steering committee meetings, project reviews, and decision-making forums. Drive system and project compliance with applicable federal, state, and environmental regulations. Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies. Develop and implement risk mitigation and contingency strategies. Ensure contract compliance and adherence to IEPA governance requirements. Oversee and manage the project budget, including tracking costs, forecasts, and variances. Ensure efficient utilization of project resources across vendor and client teams. Monitor scope changes and support change control processes. Required Qualifications Minimum of 4 years of experience implementing systems of comparable size and scope. Minimum of 2 years of experience working for the company implementing the solution offered. Must have served as Project Manager for at least one full end-to-end lifecycle deployment of the solution offered. Demonstrated experience managing complex government or public sector projects.
