Key Responsibilities Serve as the lead designer on a variety of residential and infrastructure development projects. Leverage advanced AutoCAD Civil 3D skills and CAD standards to create and review project models, plans, and designs. Develop comprehensive designs for drainage, grading, and site infrastructure while addressing complex site constraints. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, CAD designers, technicians, and sub‑consultants, to deliver successful projects. Ensure quality control of all design elements and deliverables before external release. Analyze and interpret local, state, and federal regulations, ensuring all designs meet compliance standards. Oversee project schedules and budgets, maintaining clear communication with project managers. Troubleshoot and resolve technical project challenges independently. What We’re Looking For Associate degree or equivalent in a related field. Certification in CAD software and Civil 3D platform . 10+ years of CAD and Civil 3D experience, with 5+ years in detailed land development engineering. Strong knowledge of GIS is a plus. Proven ability to mentor CAD drafters and engineering interns. Exceptional multitasking and decision‑making skills, with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D , Microsoft Office , and email applications. Preferred Traits A strong willingness to learn and take on new challenges. A proactive and collaborative mindset.
