Assistant Low Voltage Project Manager

Position Overview Assistant Project Managers, under the guidance of the Project or Group Manager, provide general management for electrical construction projects and oversee staff. Key Responsibilities Contact vendors to obtain materials for construction projects. Participate in the bi‑annual performance evaluation process; conduct employee performance reviews and consult with the Group or Project Manager to establish field merit wage increases. Maintain employee relations. Plan, organize, and staff electrical and/or specialty systems construction projects. Ensure that projects are completed profitably, in a timely manner, and according to customer expectations. Attend weekly and monthly meetings, such as Staffing, PM, and Sales meetings. Process miscellaneous paperwork. Review outgoing estimates with the Estimating Department to ensure accuracy. Visit various job sites and interact with crew, customers, foreman, and general contractors to ensure proper job progress and support safe behavior. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Electrical Engineering. Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in electrical construction, project management, or a related field. Knowledge of electrical components and applications. Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role is highly desirable. Proficiency with a PC and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of Accubid and AutoCAD is preferred. Travel & Schedule Travel: 15–20%. Schedule: Typical work hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday; work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.
