Work Environment\n

This full-time position is remote and offers the flexibility needed for work-life balance while enabling you to impact clients’ lives meaningfully. Although this role allows for a remote setting, collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team is integral, requiring active participation in video conferences and virtual team meetings. You will have access to a dedicated outpatient office if in-person collaboration is necessary.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health statuses, needs, and readiness for change.
  • \n
  • Delivering individual, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and interpersonal therapy strategies.

  • Developing and implementing tailored treatment plans that align with clients’ specific goals and needs, followed by regular reviews and modifications as necessary to ensure effective progress.
  • \n
  • Engaging in documentation of clinical notes in an electronic medical record system, maintaining compliance with state, federal, and ethical guidelines.
  • \n
  • Participating in team meetings to share insights and updates regarding client progress, contributing to a cohesive treatment approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals undergoing treatment for substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders. Your clientele may include adults from diverse backgrounds, each facing unique challenges. Attention to cultural competency and sensitivity will be paramount as you explore relational issues within families and couples, facilitating recovery and promoting stability.

Qualifications\n

  • Must possess a Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related field.
  • \n
  • Hold a current, valid license in good standing as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent credentials.
  • \n
Preferred Experience\n

  • Prior experience in substance abuse counseling and working with co-occurring disorders is highly desirable.
  • \n
  • Experience in utilizing therapeutic modalities specifically geared towards family dynamics and relational issues.

  • Proficiency in using electronic health records systems and telehealth technology.

Compensation and Benefits\n
