About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Fundraising and Chapter Leadership. The successful candidate will be a front-line fundraising professional with a primary focus on individual and foundation gifts, as well as event fundraising. This role is pivotal in leading the chapter's professional and staff management, engaging with volunteers, and fostering partnerships to advance the mission of the Foundation. The Executive Director will be responsible for the strategic vision of the chapter, driving revenue growth, and ensuring the core values of the organization are upheld. Essential functions include board and volunteer engagement, fundraising, communications, team leadership, and administration. Applicants should have a BA/BS degree (preferred) and 5-7 years' experience in not-for-profit fundraising and/or executive leadership. A proven track record in successful fundraising, including major gifts, special events, and corporate giving, is essential. The role requires experience in volunteer management, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills. The Executive Director will also be responsible for supervising chapter staff, maintaining financial and operational plans, and ensuring the chapter's performance meets the Foundation's guidelines. The position demands a candidate with a passion for the mission, a collaborative leadership style, and the ability to work effectively with a diverse team of volunteers and supporters.
