Social Worker

This is a clinical role supporting behavioral health services within a shelter or supportive housing setting. You’ll provide assessments, support case management teams, and help manage clients with complex mental health and substance use needs. This role offers tiered compensation based on licensure and the ability to independently complete psychiatric evaluations. Key Responsibilities Conduct psychosocial assessments and contribute to clinical evaluations Provide support to case management teams working with high-need clients Assist in crisis intervention, de‑escalation, and safety planning Facilitate psychoeducation groups and behavioral health support sessions Serve as a clinical resource for staff on trauma‑informed care and engagement strategies Support referrals and coordination with external behavioral health providers Participate in case conferences and multidisciplinary team meetings Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Required Qualifications Active NYS LCSW or LMHC (LMSW considered for lower tier roles) Experience working with behavioral health, substance use, or co‑occurring disorders Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills Ability to support crisis management and high‑acuity clients Experience in shelter, supportive housing, or similar settings preferred Compensation is based on licensure and clinical scope: LMSW: $53–$56/hr LMHC: $65–$68/hr LCSW: $84–$90/hr Benefits / Highlights Clear salary growth based on licensure and clinical capability Opportunity to perform higher‑level clinical work (psych evaluations) Growing organization with advancement opportunities Collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
