Lead Person – Epiroc Work Type: Onsite Shift Timings: 7:30AM – 3:30PM Responsibilities Plan assembly procedures using blueprints Check availability of parts, components, and materials (i.e. use MFGpro to confirm allocations, locations, and part disposition) Follow-up on shortages or faulty parts Assemble parts and components in proper sequence Make all required corrections/modifications according to work order/customer request As much as possible, test and troubleshoot assemblies and make all necessary adjustments for the proper operation of the rig before release to test pad Motivate employees Assist in assigning duties Order Bill of Materials (BoM) and blueprints Maintain the cleanliness of the assembly area Detect and report defective materials, faulty operation, and unusual conditions to immediate Supervisor Follow prescribed safety regulations / guidelines Maintain work related records and reports (i.e. quality defects, unplanned material requisition) Ensure availability of all stored supplies Perform other duties as required or directed Train new hires Occasional, Infrequent Tasks Complete appropriate paperwork for rejected parts Return leftover parts back to Warehouse Knowledge/Education HS Diploma or GED required The training period for this position: Six months to a year Two year minimum in current skill set with some leadership and training skills Must have training in reading blueprints and electrical and hydraulic schematics Skills and Abilities Required to read, write and comprehend English Use and comprehend specifications, blueprints, BoM's and schematics Ability to work shop orders using fundamental knowledge of assembly techniques and applications Overall knowledge of product line Familiar with basic hand tools, mechanical assembly, electrical sequences and techniques Basic understanding of troubleshooting principles Knowledge of MFG Pro transactions that directly affect their work area Benefits Benefits eligibility begins the 1st of the month after start date Health care eligibility - including medical, dental, vision, prescription and telemedicine Wellness program Employee discounts Short and long-term disability insurance Life and AD&D insurance Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) and Health Savings Account (HSA) Employee Assistance Program 401(k) plan Direct deposit Tuition reimbursement program Paid Vacation Paid Sick Time This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, or qualifications associated with the job.
