Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator

We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse operations, including receiving shipments, inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, and material handling. This role is responsible for unloading LTL shipments, staging outgoing orders, operating a sit-down forklift, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.

The ideal candidate has recent warehouse and forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

Receive and verify incoming materials from LTL and other shipments
Unload trucks and stage incoming inventory for storage
Pull, prepare, and stage customer orders for shipment and delivery
Operate a sit-down forklift to move, organize, and store materials
Stock inventory in designated warehouse locations
Read and follow work orders to ensure order accuracy
Assist with loading outbound shipments
Maintain inventory organization and warehouse efficiency
Perform general warehouse housekeeping and cleanup duties
Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized, secure, and safe at all times
Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse best practices

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of recent warehouse experience
Minimum of 1 year of recent sit-down forklift experience
Ability to read and understand work orders and shipping documentation
Experience operating warehouse equipment safely
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in:
- Shipping and receiving
- Inventory management
- Material handling
- Delivery support
- Warehouse operations
Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn warehouse inventory and processes
Experience unloading LTL shipments
Experience maintaining inventory accuracy and warehouse organization
