Construction Safety Coordinator

Construction Safety Coordinator opportunity in Florida

Well established construction related company seeking a Construction Safety Coordinator to assist to coordinate all.
of the organization's safety activities and programs to ensure a safe, healthy, and accident-free work environment for all employees; develops and implements accident prevention programs.

Responsibilities

Plan, implement, communicate, and monitors safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal OSHA rules and regulations.
Investigates all accidents and injuries; recommends and/or coordinates corrective actions with Safety Manager.
Develop and implement safety training programs designed to instruct employees in general safe work practices.

Identifies potential safety hazards at all facilities; reports hazards and recommendations for eliminating/reducing to Safety Manager.

Minimum of three years related experience.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance standards.
Ability to travel to job sites (trips are short in duration)
