FOIA Subject Matter Expert (SME)

FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) Technical Subject Matter Expert/Consultant

We are actively searching for a FOIA Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the Washington D.C. area with excellent soft skills and an ability, but more importantly, the drive to learn and participate in many facets of the sales and onboarding process for our FOIA customers working with ArkCase FOIA. In this role we are looking for seekers who quickly demonstrate that they add value by using practical FOIA experience working with stakeholders from all business units with the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic advice, guidance and expertise to program and project staff as well as the ArkCase FOIA product team
• Provide detailed analysis, evaluation and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission critical challenges/issues
• Consult with clients to define need or problem, supervise studies and leads surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions
• Train and onboard clients to ArkCase FOIA
• Participate in FOIA Community events to represent Armedia and ArkCase FOIA,  including developing and maintaining training materials and delivering sessions to end-user groups
• Work directly with users in the Stage environment to validate configurations, walk through workflows, and support pre-production readiness
• Provide hands-on assistance to clients during User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including coordinating test scenarios, triaging feedback, and tracking issues to resolution
• Participate in FOIA Community events to represent Armedia and ArkCase FOIA

Required Technical Skills:

• At least 5 years working with FOIA solutions.

Required Experience and Education:

• MS Office, MS Visio, and MS SharePoint.
• Bachelor's Degree or higher degree preferred.
