Commercial Construction Project Manager


A leading commercial general contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee ground-up and renovation commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established builder with a strong backlog of work, long-term stability, and a reputation for delivering high-quality projects.


The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships while ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.


Key Responsibilities


• Manage all phases of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout


• Oversee project budgets, schedules, contracts, and overall financial performance


• Coordinate with Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders


• Review plans, specifications, subcontracts, and change orders


• Lead project meetings and maintain strong communication with clients and leadership


• Identify project risks and proactively resolve issues before they impact timelines


• Ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget


• Support project handoff and closeout processes


• Maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, and subcontractors


Qualifications


• 4-10+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction


• Experience managing ground-up and/or renovation commercial projects


• Strong knowledge of project management, budgeting, scheduling, and cost control


• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications


• Experience with construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera, or MS Project


• Stable work history with reputable commercial contractors


• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills


Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range:
