Senior Fund Accountant

Responsibilities The Senior Fund Accountant conducts detailed reviews of capital calls and distribution notices, monthly management fee calculations, and expense wires prepared by third-party fund administrators to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with fund agreements. Prepares and analyzes quarterly fund valuations, which involve gathering and analyzing each portfolio company’s financials, and using the valuation platform, iLevel, to generate valuation reports. Reviews each quarter’s general entries, catch‑up schedule, capital account schedule, and financial report to ensure accuracy, consistency, and GAAP compliance. Collaborates with internal team and external auditors and tax experts to support year‑end audit and tax processes, ensuring timely completion of deliverables and regulatory filings. Keeps track of the limited partners and general partners’ status ensuring investor documentation is current, complete, and accurately reflects capital activity, transfers, and ownership changes. Responds to ongoing and fundraising‑related investor requests, helps maintain investor contact list using investor portal, Ark. Collaborates with company’s VP of Finance, CFO, and other team members on projects as needed. Maintains internal tracking files such as called capital, token, escrow, note interest, etc. Qualifications Must have at least a master’s degree in accounting, economics or a related field. Must have at least 12 months’ experience in the occupation of fund accountant, fund controller or similar occupations in venture capital industry, preparing audited financial statements and tax returns. Must have combined knowledge of capital allocation methodologies, waterfall mechanics, and valuation concepts, as well as using investor reporting portal Ark, accounting systems such as QuickBooks and SQL. #J-18808-Ljbffr
