Project ManagerWe are seeking an accomplished and commercially minded Project Manager to take end-to-end accountability for customer-facing and internal initiatives of increased scale, risk, and complexity. This role owns integrated delivery performance across scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources, risk, and benefits, and is expected to convert project data into timely management decisions.The Project Manager will establish and enforce a fit-for-purpose delivery approach using predictive, Agile, or hybrid practices; maintain auditable governance and baselines; lead financial planning and controls; and proactively protect revenue, margin, cash flow, and contractual commitments. The role serves as the primary point of accountability for delivery, customer communications, financial accuracy, and recovery action when performance deviates from plan.Key Responsibilities:Lead technology, infrastructure, cloud, application, consult, and transformative projects through the full lifecycle, from business case and kickoff through transition, acceptance, and closure.Translate contractual commitments and business objectives into an integrated delivery plan with measurable outcomes, work breakdown structure, dependencies, milestones, resource assumptions, and acceptance criteria.Own project performance and make timely trade-off recommendations across scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, and customer value.Establish clear workstream accountability, decision rights, escalation paths, and operating cadence across cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.Lead corrective-action and recovery planning when performance deviates from approved baselines.Financial and Commercial Management:Own the project financial plan, including budget development, cost baseline, resource demand, revenue and expense forecasts, contingency, cash-flow considerations, and financial assumptions.Maintain accurate monthly forecasts and explain variances across actuals, commitments, estimate to complete, estimate at completion, revenue, margin, and utilization.Use earned value management or equivalent performance measures, where appropriate, to integrate scope, schedule, and cost information and forecast project outcomes.Partner with Finance, Commercial, Sales, and Delivery leaders to validate financial data, billing readiness, contractual milestones, and cost-to-complete.Identify financial risks early; quantify exposure; preserve planned margin; and implement corrective actions for overruns, under-recovery, leakage, or delayed billing.Evaluate change requests for scope, schedule, resource, commercial, and margin impact before approval, and maintain traceability from decision through forecast and contract updates.Prepare concise financial narratives and decision-ready reporting for governance forums and executive stakeholders.Project Management Methodology and Governance:Select, tailor, and consistently apply predictive, Agile, or hybrid delivery methods based on customer needs, contractual structure, risk, and delivery complexity.Establish and maintain core management artifacts, including charter, integrated plan, RAID log, stakeholder and communication plans, quality plan, change log, decision log, financial baseline, benefits measures, and closure records.Apply disciplined planning, estimating, sequencing, critical-path, dependency, and change-control practices while preserving appropriate agility.Run stage gates, health checks, retrospectives, and lessons-learned reviews; ensure decisions, approvals, and exceptions are documented and auditable.Use delivery metrics and trends to assess health, test assumptions, improve predictability, and drive continuous improvement.Promote consistent PM standards, coach team members on methodology, and contribute reusable practices, templates, and lessons to the broader profession.Stakeholder, Customer, Risk, and Team Leadership:Serve as the authoritative point of contact for project status, commitments, decisions, financial position, risks, and recovery actions.Lead governance reviews and executive communications with transparent, evidence-based reporting and clear decisions required.Build trusted customer and internal relationships while constructively challenging unrealistic assumptions, uncontrolled scope, and delivery risks.Maintain active risk, issue, dependency, and opportunity management with accountable owners, due dates, financial exposure, and escalation thresholds.Lead and motivate cross-functional teams; resolve delivery conflicts; coach project coordinators and developing project managers; and reinforce accountability and inclusive collaboration.Coordinate operational readiness, transition, acceptance, benefits ownership, and formal project closure.Required Skills and Experience:3+ years of progressively responsible project management experience, including ownership of complex customer-facing technology or transformation initiatives.PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in good standing.Prior experience working as a PM for an enterprise software vendor/SaaS vendor or a technology consultancy firm.Demonstrated command of predictive, Agile, and hybrid delivery methods, with the judgment to tailor governance and controls to the engagement.Strong project financial-management experience, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, estimate to complete, estimate at completion, revenue, cost, margin, cash-flow awareness, and change economics.Experience establishing and governing scope, schedule, cost, resource, risk, quality, change, and benefits baselines.Ability to interpret contracts, statements of work, milestones, assumptions, dependencies, and acceptance criteria and translate them into executable controls.Advanced executive communication, negotiation, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills.Strong analytical judgment and demonstrated ability to lead recovery actions in high-pressure delivery environments.Proficiency with enterprise scheduling, collaboration, financial, resource-management, and reporting tools.Preferred Qualifications:Experience managing multi-workstream or multi-vendor engagements with material revenue, cost, and delivery risk.Working knowledge of earned value management, benefits realization, capacity planning, and commercial delivery models.Agile, Scrum, Lean, ITIL, or additional PMI certification.Experience in enterprise technology transformation, managed services, cloud, infrastructure, application modernization, or consulting environments.Experience developing project managers and improving organizational PM maturity.Success Measures:Delivers agreed outcomes with controlled scope, predictable milestones, required quality, and documented customer acceptance.Maintains accurate forecasts and achieves approved revenue, cost, margin, cash-flow, and budget objectives.Identifies adverse financial and delivery trends early and closes corrective actions within agreed timeframes.Demonstrates consistent use of fit-for-purpose PM methodology, governance, controls, and auditable delivery artifacts.Provides transparent executive reporting that enables timely decisions and builds customer confidence.Develops team capability, improves delivery predictability, and contributes reusable practices to the Project Management Profession.
