Veterinarian - Base Salary Negotiable with Production (New Grads Welcome) We are seeking a diligent and composed veterinarian to join our team. As a veterinarian, you will diagnose illnesses, administer vaccinations, perform surgeries, and offer preventive care to ensure the health and well-being of our patients. Additionally, you will educate pet owners on proper nutrition, exercise, and overall pet care to promote responsible pet ownership. Responsibilities: Conduct thorough physical examinations of animals to assess their health status. Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and medical conditions in animals. Perform surgical procedures, such as spaying, neutering, and tumor removal. Prescribe medications and administer treatments as necessary. Vaccinate animals against common diseases and provide preventive care. Advise pet owners on proper nutrition, exercise, and grooming techniques. Educate clients on zoonotic diseases and preventive measures to protect both animals and humans. Maintain accurate medical records for all patients. Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other team members to ensure efficient patient care. Stay updated on the latest advancements in veterinary medicine and attend continuing education seminars as required. Qualifications: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school. Valid state license to practice veterinary medicine. Strong diagnostic and surgical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations with composure. Compassion for animals and their owners.
