Licensed Veterinary Technician Opportunity

Kindness Animal Hospital is hiring a Licensed Veterinary Technician! This is a full-time position with a Monday through Friday schedule. No nights or weekend shifts. The salary is negotiable and based on experience.

Veterinary technicians provide safe and effective patient handling and restraint, support preventative care and vaccine appointments, monitor patients under anesthesia, provide perioperative care, obtain diagnostic radiographs, perform phlebotomy and collect diagnostic samples, perform in-house laboratory testing, communicate professionally and compassionately with clients and staff, document patient records and client interactions clearly and succinctly, and collaborate with veterinarians and fellow team members to provide exceptional patient care.

Veterinary technicians bring compassion for patients and the people who love them, strong attention to detail, dedication to your team, clients, and patients, knowledge of preventative care and vaccines, experience with anesthesia monitoring and perioperative care, confidence with IV catheter placement, radiographs, phlebotomy, sample collection, and in-house laboratory testing, professional and compassionate communication skills, strong medical record documentation skills, a collaborative mindset, and commitment to excellent veterinary medicine.
