About the Position

TransForce is seeking a reliable CDL A Flatbed Driver for a local delivery position in Memphis, TN. This role involves hauling metal and steel freight to various customers while safely operating a commercial vehicle and handling loading and unloading responsibilities.

Pay & Schedule Details

$24 per hour. Overtime available after 40 hours
Monday through Friday schedule
Approximately 9-hour shifts

Job Details

Route type: Local delivery
Freight: Metal and steel
Equipment: Class A flatbed commercial vehicle
Handling: Heavy-touch freight requiring use of a liftgate and pallet jack for loading and unloading

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a commercial vehicle on local delivery routes.
Transport metal and steel freight to various customers.
Load and unload freight using a liftgate and pallet jack.
Maintain communication with dispatch regarding routes, delivery timing, and operational issues.
Inspect and operate equipment safely.
Comply with all applicable DOT regulations and company policies.

Minimum Requirements

Valid Class A CDL.
1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
