Pipefitter
Comfort Systems USA - South Central
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Unload, load, carry, cut, thread, solder, braze, groove, and install pipe, fittings, supports, sleeves, and/or equipment as used in HVAC systems including but not limited to copper, ACR, steel, plastic, or ductile iron.
- Test piping systems
- Review, understand, and follow plans, and scope on assigned project.
- Have all personal hand tools.
- Know and follow company policies and procedures, including safety.
- Work with and train apprentices.
- Provide opportunities for on-the-job training.
- Inspect installations daily to ensure quality, specification, and code compliance.
- Work with general contractors and other subs in a professional manner.
- Utilize shop prefabrication.
- Facilitate field changes.
- Able to operate power tools safely including overhead, side to side, and at floor levels daily.
- Organize tasks in such a way that material handling is kept to a minimum.
- Always Represent Comfort Systems USA in a professional manner.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Minimum four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
