Speech Language Pathologist in New Milford, NJ

This contract position runs from September through February and is located near New Milford, NJ, working within school settings to help children thrive. Your expertise in speech and language—whether you’re an SLP-CCC or a Clinical Fellow (CFY)—will be pivotal in delivering high-quality services to students with a variety of needs. Preferred Experience and Qualifications: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Active state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology CCC-SLP credential or current eligibility to complete Clinical Fellowship (CFY) Background in providing therapy within school environments Strong communication and organizational skills Compassionate approach for working with children of diverse backgrounds and needs Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists Primary Responsibilities: Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to individual student needs Work collaboratively with school staff and families to maximize student growth Maintain accurate records and progress notes Attend IEP meetings and contribute to goal planning Support students with a range of speech-language disorders in both group and individual settings This assignment offers a chance to make a direct difference in students’ lives while working part time during the academic year.
