Recreation Specialist needed in Helena, MT!

Job Summary: A Recreation Specialist is responsible for independently developing and supervising specialized programs that serve target populations or interest groups.

• Days: 10 hrs.
• 13-week assignment (with possible extensions).

What You Will Be Doing:

• Completes activity therapy evaluations and progress notes in a prescribed timeframe and high-quality fashion.
• Conducts activity therapy group sessions and individual sessions as needed, displaying good theoretical knowledge of group principles and good group techniques.
• Communicates effectively with families and outside agencies to promote referral development.
• Other duties as described.

You Are Likely A Good Fit If:

• Must have CTRS credential granted by NCTRC.
• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation or a related field.
• Must have a minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Recreational Therapist, or Therapy Assistant.
• AHA BLS/CPR.

Pay:

• Up to $2,642 per week based on 40 hours.
• Weekly Direct Deposit & Benefits Available: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k match.
