Responsible for the 24-hour management of the assigned Labor and Delivery unit, ensuring that patient care aligns with established standards of care and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily operations and provide leadership to nursing staff within the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Ensure adherence to clinical standards and promote evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure efficient and effective unit operations.
- Monitor compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
- Provide education and mentorship to nursing staff to foster professional growth and development.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of clinical nursing experience.
- One (1) to two (2) years of progressive management experience.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Nevada.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certification.
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in managing complex patient care scenarios within Labor and Delivery.
