Title: Custodian I/II – various shifts available Department: Custodial Services Campus Location: Arnold/Main Campus Hourly Rate Range: $18.40 – $19.46 Work Mode: Full-time in-person Hours Per Week: 40 Position Type: Full-Time Staff Custodian I/II responsibilities include providing custodial services for all college buildings, ensuring proper hygiene compliance, and maintaining cleanliness of classrooms, restrooms, hallways, administrative offices, and auditoriums. Shift schedule: four overnight shifts (11pm – 7am) and one daytime shift (7am – 3pm) on weekdays, Saturday and Sunday. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum one year of custodial experience. Ability to read, write, and follow simple directions. Physical ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs. during an eight‑hour shift. Physical ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow, slippery surfaces). Physical ability to work on uneven surfaces. Physical ability to use lifts, ladders, and/or scaffolding to work at elevated heights. Ability to professionally assist and interact with culturally diverse students, faculty, staff, and the public. Preferred Qualifications Proven record of attendance and reliability. Willingness to be flexible regarding work location, assignments, hours, and shifts. Demonstrated ability to use heavy custodial equipment, including buffers and vacuums, and move furniture with or without reasonable accommodations. Ability to work well with others.
