Telemetry - Registered Nurse (Travel)

Contract | Days (06:45 AM – 07:15 PM) | 36 hours per week | 13-week assignment | Weekends Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to telemetry patients presenting with conditions including heart failure, arrhythmias, chest pain, shortness of breath, COPD exacerbation, GI bleed, syncope, altered mental status, UTI, and ESRD/dialysis needs
• Monitor and interpret continuous cardiac telemetry data and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
• Float to other medical/surgical areas as needed based on unit staffing requirements
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Current BLS certification
• Demonstrated experience in a telemetry or cardiac step-down nursing setting
• Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to telemetry alerts
• Availability to work weekends as required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a telemetry or medical/surgical unit
• Experience caring for patients with heart failure, ESRD/dialysis, or complex cardiac arrhythmias
• Comfort floating to general medical/surgical areas as needed
