Facilities CAD Specialist, Mid Job Number: R0243648 The Opportunity We are looking for a Facilities CAD Specialist who will work on challenging projects generating facility planning solutions from beginning to end while collaborating with senior leadership. You will use computer facilities management software and your problem‑solving skills to help develop creative solutions for mission‑critical projects for the USAF. In this role you will closely impact the accuracy and quality of facility data by surveying and updating facility drawings, which will improve inventory data accuracy. We provide mentoring, exposure to challenging projects, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills to grow as a team. What You’ll Work On Analyze, formulate, and recommend facility standards, design, and space criteria and usage through space utilization studies and forecasts for clients in the USAF civil engineering community. Implement analyses and develop solutions for facility planning and management. Perform complex activities for control and management of cost, schedule, risk, and resource optimization. Prepare or review facilities estimates and site proposals for client review as to cost and feasibility. Work closely with clients in the USAF civil engineering community to develop plans and programs responsive to present and anticipate portfolio and facility or individual space requirements. Recommend planning, design, and construction standards or milestones. You Have Experience with AutoCAD and Revit for building drawings and facilities. Ability to learn new processes or procedures and apply them to existing CAD contract requirements. Ability to conduct facility surveys. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint, and Access. Ability to travel up to 25% of the time. Ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience with facilities CAD, or 6+ years of experience with facilities CAD in lieu of a degree. Nice If You Have Experience with DoD clients, including AFMAN 32‑1084, AFI 32‑7062, and comprehensive planning. Knowledge of DoD installations, missions, organizations, and facility types, including category codes. Knowledge of AFI 32‑1015, Integrated Installation Planning, DAFI 32‑9005, and real property accountability and reporting. Secret clearance. Bachelor's degree in Planning, Engineering, or Geography. Autodesk Certification. Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Compensation The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). Salary is determined by various factors, including location, education, skills, and experience. Work Model Remote: If this position is listed as remote, there may still be occasions when you are required to work in person at a Booz Allen or customer facility. Hybrid: If this position is listed as hybrid, you will be expected to work from a Booz Allen facility frequently, in alignment with leadership expectations and the needs of the role. You may also be required to work from or visit a customer facility. Onsite: If this position is listed as onsite, work will primarily be performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, where employees will collaborate directly with colleagues and customers as required by the role.
