Institutional Services AssistantThe Institutional Services Assistant, in conjunction with other assistants and under the direction of a supervisor, cleans dishes, the kitchen area, food preparation equipment, and utensils. The Institutional Services Assistant also removes trash while maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment.Minimum:High School Diploma or GEDAble to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.Responsibilities:Washes dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using a dishwasher or manually then places the equipment in designated storage areas.Maintains kitchen work areas, floors, equipment, or utensils.Uses and stores chemical and cleaning supplies.Sorts and removes trash, placing it in designated pickup areas and clean/line garbage containers.May perform other duties as assigned.Salary Information: $16.00 HourlyRequired Documents to Apply: ResumeOptional Documents:Recruitment Contact Information: Please contact View email address on click.appcast.io for any recruiting related questions.All application materials must be uploaded to the University of Arkansas System Career Site do not send to listed recruitment contact.This position is subject to pre-employment screening (criminal background, drug testing, and/or education verification).
