The Dental Assistant plays a vital role in supporting routine dental procedures within a small team environment. Reporting directly to the Dentist, this full-time position involves chairside assistance, patient preparation, and maintaining a clean and organized clinical setting. The Dental Assistant ensures efficient operation of the dental clinic by managing patient records, scheduling appointments, and adhering to strict infection control protocols. This role does not require travel between clinic locations. We are a single doctor practice allowing the assistant to work with one provider only.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist chairside during routine dental procedures
• Prepare patients and clinical areas for treatment
• Perform X-ray imaging and handle related equipment
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards
• Manage dental inventory and supplies
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Schedule patient appointments efficiently
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in dental assisting
• Familiarity with chairside assisting and infection control
• Strong patient communication skills
• Knowledge of sterilization techniques
