Primary City/State: Osborn Medical Center - 7400 E Osborn Rd Scottsdale, AZ 85251 Category: Imaging | Shift: Day | Department: RAD | Sign-on Bonus: $15k. 3x12-hour shifts; call required – must live within a 30‑minute radius of E. Osborn Rd @ N. Drinkwater Blvd. Responsibilities Under the direction of a radiologist, performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Reviews patient identification, orders, and history to ensure correct patient, procedure, imaging site and protocol compliance. Transports patients to and from the exam room and assists them into position using safe patient handling techniques and equipment. Performs Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures and observes patients during the procedure to ensure safety and comfort. Administers contrast materials as required and initiates emergency response to contrast reactions. Obtains and evaluates images for technical quality assurance, including laterality marking and annotation per IR protocol. Utilizes RIS, PACS, and other ancillary image management systems. Assists in coordinating daily workflow for departmental activities. Maintains equipment in efficient operating order and documents required quality‑control testing. Contacts service for repair and maintenance as directed. Rotates throughout the department as staffing and volume dictate. Participates in orientation, training, and in‑servicing of staff, as needed. Maintains an orderly, clean, and safe environment for patients and staff in the assigned area. Maintains stock and inventory as assigned. Performs other duties as assigned. Education Associate’s degree from an accredited NLN/CCNE or ARRT vocational/specialized training – Required. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited NLN/CCNE or ARRT vocational/specialized training – Preferred. Experience Radiology experience of greater than 10 months – Required. Licenses and Certifications Current AZ State Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license – Required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – Required before start date. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification – Valid and current – Required. ARRT-Vascular Intervention certification – Preferred. ARRT-Radiography certification – Preferred. ARRT-Radiology (R) certification – Preferred. ARRT-Cardiac Intervention certification – Preferred.
