AST is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) who provides tailored military training, training support, and a host of services to government and private sector clients worldwide.Job Description: The Senior J39 Psychological Operations Planner serves as a key PSYOP subject matter expert, advising commanders, developing influence operations plans, conducting target audience analysis, assessing effects, and coordinating with joint and interagency stakeholders. The role requires joint planning expertise, briefing skills, possible CONUS/OCONUS travel, and an active TS/SCI clearance.Summary of Duties: Serves as senior PSYOP planner, advises commanders, plans and assesses influence operations, conducts target audience analysis, synchronizes stakeholders, and develops planning briefs.Duties: Serves as senior PSYOP planner for influence operations and objectives. Advises commanders on psychological effects of military actions. Plans operations influencing target audience attitudes and behaviors. Assesses influence efforts using performance, effectiveness, and intelligence measures. Integrates PSYOP with information forces and command elements for synchronization. Develops CONOPs, briefings, recommendations, and planning documents. Maintains PSYOP knowledge database of activities, assessments, and lessons learned.Position Requirements: Knowledge of joint doctrine and joint planning concepts, including JOPP and APEX. Ability to apply operational art and operational design in the application of JOPP. Knowledge of joint military operations, including command and control (C2) processes and MDMP. Ability to translate technical content and TTPs in COAs, OPLANs, and CONPLANs into high-level briefs, point papers, and talking papers. May be required to travel CONUS/OCONUS in TDY status for conferences, planning efforts, OPTs, and exercises. Must remain fully qualified and current with all specified/required training.
