Evening Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Full-Time | 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

The Arc of Ocean County is seeking compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide meaningful support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential settings throughout Ocean County. In this role, you will help individuals develop life skills, participate in their communities, and enjoy greater independence while receiving the support they need to thrive. Position Details Full‑time, 40 hours per week Evening shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM Required to work two weekend days as part of schedule Starting pay: $20.20 per hour (up to $24.20 with shift differentials and overtime) Bi‑weekly pay schedule Essential Responsibilities Provide direct support in residential group homes, supervised apartments, and supported living programs. Assist with activities of daily living, including meal preparation, medication support, personal care, household tasks, and transportation. Encourage participation in community, recreational, and social activities that promote independence and inclusion. Support achievement of personal goals identified in individualized service plans. Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment that respects dignity and personal choice. Complete required electronic documentation, daily notes, and program records accurately and timely. Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure quality services and consistent support. Follow agency policies, procedures, and program compliance requirements. No Experience? We’ll Train You! Paid training is provided for all new hires. Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities is welcomed but not required. High school diploma or GED required. Valid New Jersey driver’s license in good standing with no more than five points.
