Lead Dental Assistant (Grand Street Dental; Brooklyn, NY) Under the supervision of a licensed DMD or DDS, perform the following duties: Responsible for scheduling and organizing office staff’s schedule and assignments. Responsible for teaching and training junior assistants. Impression making and scans with Itero or 3Shape. Perform intraoral and extraoral photography. Complete medical forms in accordance with company procedures. Assist dentist with management of medical and dental emergencies. Take X-rays. Provide postoperative instructions to patients as prescribed by dentist. Provide technical support during software installations and configurations. Support the front desk with payments and insurance billing, as well as other duties as needed. Responsible for maintaining accurate patient records. Make preliminary impressions for study casts and occlusal registrations for mounting study casts. Fabricate temporary restorations or custom impressions from preliminary impressions. Clean and polish removable appliances. Salary: $56,784 - $95,000 per year #J-18808-Ljbffr
