Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit

Schedule

12H night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every third weekend required.

Assignment Details

Contract length: 13 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 72 hours biweekly, excluding on-call time.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required.
Must have successfully completed at least one travel assignment, preferably more.
Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
Ability to manage critically ill adult patients with various medical emergencies and post-surgical care.
Experience with pediatric patients in critical situations is a plus.
Stroke management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill adult and pediatric patients.
Monitor vital signs and manage life-support equipment.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and care processes.

Compliance / Notes

Must be separated from previous employment at the facility for 6 months to be considered for re-hire.
