We are seeking an energetic, compassionate, and creative leader to develop and coordinate engaging recreational and social programs that make a positive impact in the lives of our residents and patients. Key Responsibilities Plan, organize, and lead daily activity programs for residents Create engaging group and one-on-one activities that support physical, emotional, cognitive, and social well-being Coordinate holiday events, outings, entertainment, and special celebrations Encourage resident participation and build meaningful relationships Maintain activity calendars and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations Work collaboratively with nursing, therapy, dietary, and interdisciplinary teams Help create a fun, welcoming, and vibrant environment for residents and families Qualifications Previous experience in Activities, Recreation, Healthcare, Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing, or Senior Living preferred Energetic, compassionate, and dependable personality Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to lead group activities and engage residents of varying abilities Experience with dementia programming is a plus Activity Director Certification or willingness to obtain certification preferred Benefits For Full-Time Team Members May Include Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Employee Assistance Program Employee Discount Programs #J-18808-Ljbffr Southern HealthCare Management
