Job Description
Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist

Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics

Hours per Shift: 12 hours (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM)

Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent critical care experience


License: Current Respiratory Care Provider license required


Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and NBRC (RRT)


Must-Have: Must have recent critical care experience


Description:
Position/Specialty: RRT

Shift: 3x12, Days, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM, with holiday rotation

On-call requirement: No

Weekend requirement: Every other weekend

Floating required: Yes, must be able to float to all areas of the hospital, including labor and delivery


Required years of experience: 2 years


First-timers accepted: No


National certifications required: All certifications must be in hand prior to start


Miscellaneous: Open to accommodating block schedule: No


Local radius: 60 miles


Local candidates accepted: No locals accepted


All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission.


The facility is permitted to cancel 1 shift per 2 weeks.

Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams.


Hurricane season runs from June through November each year.


All labs must be completed within 72 hours of signing if within 90 days of the start or at least 2 weeks prior to the due date.


If a candidate has vacation plans during the compliance process, all labs must be completed prior to departure.
