Company Description Pain Management Centers of America (PMCA) is a national pain management organization formed through the merger of leading regional centers in Kentucky, Tennessee, and Indiana. PMCA operates 12 pain centers and 3 ambulatory surgery centers, all equipped with state‑of‑the‑art technology. The organization employs over 200 trained personnel, including 12 Interventional Pain Physicians, medical directors, nurses, and administrative staff. PMCA focuses on enhanced interventional pain management and expanding access to high‑quality services for patients with chronic pain. Physicians at PMCA are specialists in interventional pain management and welcome patients for comprehensive evaluation and treatment. Role Description This is a part‑time, on‑site Surgical Technologist role based in Paducah, KY. The Surgical Technologist supports interventional pain procedures by preparing operating rooms, ensuring all equipment and instruments are sterilized, organized, and ready for use. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include assisting physicians during surgical and procedural interventions, managing surgical supplies, and maintaining a safe, sterile environment. The role also involves verifying patient and procedure information, positioning and preparing patients, and collaborating closely with nurses, physicians, and other clinical staff. The Surgical Technologist adheres to all safety, infection control, and compliance standards while contributing to efficient workflow and high‑quality patient care. Qualifications Demonstrated proficiency in Surgical Technology and familiarity with standard surgical instruments and equipment. Experience working in an Operating Room or procedural suite environment. Foundational knowledge of Medicine and Surgery relevant to interventional pain and outpatient procedures. Accredited Surgical Technologist program completion and current certification (CST or equivalent) preferred. Current BLS certification and adherence to infection control and safety protocols. Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and ability to maintain sterile technique. Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a fast‑paced clinical environment. Previous experience in pain management, ambulatory surgery centers, or similar settings is beneficial. #J-18808-Ljbffr
