LAB - MLT/MLS (2 openings)

Laboratory

Full Time, 1st Shift, Weekends

Candidate will obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of diseases by performing routine tests. Must recognize problems and make simple corrections, provide accurate and timely results, and provide care according to the developmental level and age of patients served. Works closely with all laboratory personnel, physicians, and nursing staff. Has considerable contact with patients and the public. Access to protected health information is limited to the minimum necessary to perform the duties of the job.

Qualifications:

• MT (ASCP), CLS or MLT (ASCP)
• Excellent customer service skills.

RAD TECH

Imaging Services

PRN, Weekends, All Shifts

The Radiology Tech performs radiographic procedures as assigned. Works independently, displaying professional judgment and initiative. Adheres to principles of radiation protection. Provides compassionate patient care during the course of imaging procedures. Performs clerical duties as needed including processing exams for interpretation and scheduling diagnostic exams. Is flexible in meeting the staffing needs of the clinic. Works closely with the imaging staff, physicians, nursing staff, patients, and their families. Must be willing to cross-train to Computed Tomography. Access to protected health information is limited to the minimum necessary to perform the duties of the job.

Qualifications:

• Valid IEMA Rad Tech license
• ARRT certified (or eligible)
• BLS certification within 6 months of hire

RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST (Rad Tech)

Kewanee Clinic

Part Time, 1st Shift, Weekends

Radiology Tech needed to perform radiographic procedures as assigned. Works independently, displaying professional judgment and initiative. Adheres to principles of radiation protection. Provides compassionate patient care during the course of imaging procedures. Performs clerical duties as needed, including processing exams for interpretation and scheduling diagnostic exams. Is flexible in meeting the staffing needs of the clinic. Access to protected health information is limited to the minimum necessary to perform the duties of the job.

Qualifications:

• Registered in the State of Illinois
• IEMA
• ARRT or eligible
• BLS

DIAGNOSTIC SONOGRAPHER

Imaging Services

PRN, All Shifts

Staff Sonographer works closely with the imaging staff, physicians, nursing staff, patients, and their families. The Sonographer demonstrates good competence in the administration of age-appropriate care. Willingness to learn and become registered in adult and pediatric echocardiography.

Qualifications:

• RDMS, RVT, and BLS (CPR).

PHLEBOTOMIST (2 openings)

Part Time, 2nd Shift, Weekends

Procures laboratory specimens. Provides care according to the developmental level and age of patient serving. Performs clerical duties for the laboratory. Insures the proper flow of information in and out of the lab. Assists patients and the public in response to questions and needs related to the laboratory.

Qualifications:

• Phlebotomy certificate preferred.
• General office experience in laboratory preferred.
