Shift: Evening Shift

Sunday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Monday to Thursday: 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM
Duration: 13 weeks (Contract)

Job Description

Elitecare Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled and dedicated Travel MRI Technologist for a contract position in Portland, Oregon. This role is essential for providing high-quality imaging services to patients in a clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities

Perform MRI scans on patients as ordered by physicians, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
Prepare and maintain MRI equipment, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to safety protocols.
Explain procedures to patients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses and high-quality imaging.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient information, imaging results, and any adverse reactions.
Adhere to infection control policies and maintain a clean work environment.

Requirements

Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist with specific MRI credentials.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in MRI imaging preferred.
Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Information

Contract Duration: 13 weeks.
