Nurse Practitioner – MinuteClinic | Hoschton, GA

Full-Time | 30–40 Hours/Week | Primary/Urgent Care Experience Required

MinuteClinic is seeking an experienced  Nurse Practitioner  to provide high-quality, evidence-based care at its clinic in  Hoschton, Georgia . This is an in-person, patient-facing opportunity with a collaborative clinical care team.

• Location: Hoschton, GA
• Position: Nurse Practitioner
• Hours: 30–40 hours/week
• Clinic Hours:
  • Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM–7:30 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
  • Sunday: 9:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Orientation: 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday, for 4 weeks
• Setting: MinuteClinic / Retail Clinic
• Patient Care: In-person and patient-facing
• Weekend Requirement: Typically 3 out of every 6 weekends
• Holiday Rotation: May be required
• Start: Individual start

‍⚕️ Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with a dedicated clinical care team to provide comprehensive primary and family care, including:

• Assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients
• Managing acute and chronic health conditions
• Performing routine examinations and health screenings
• Providing health counseling and wellness education
• Supporting chronic disease management
• Performing diagnostic tests
• Developing treatment and disposition plans
• Coordinating care with other healthcare professionals
• Following up with patients
• Managing appointments and patient needs
• Verifying insurance and collecting payments
• Supporting clinic operations, inventory, and cleanliness
• Encouraging patients to actively participate in their health and wellness

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent Primary Care experience as a Nurse Practitioner in family medicine, primary care, or urgent care
• Prior  Primary Care or Urgent Care experience is required
• Current Georgia NP license
• NP license must be in good standing with no current or prior disciplinary actions
• Master's degree from a Family Nurse Practitioner program
• Current national board certification
• BLS required from AHA or American Red Cross
• NPI required
• DEA registration may be required during onboarding
• Ability to practice autonomously and work without direct supervision
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and solve problems effectively
• Proficiency with electronic medical systems and technology
• Willingness to obtain additional state licensure if required
