Contract | Weekend Only | 12-Hour Day Shifts | Friday–Saturday–Sunday or Saturday–Sunday–Monday (schedule may vary)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit serving an adult and geriatric population
• Manage a patient assignment within a 6:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Utilize Paragon and Pyxis systems for electronic medical records and medication management
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, applying step-down and telemetry competencies as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in New York State
• Minimum 1–2 years of step-down or telemetry experience required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Familiarity with Paragon EMR and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
