Registered Nurse (RN) Family Practice Clinic - Jackson, KY Full-Time Position 4-day work week (4 x 10 hours shifts) - schedule may be adjusted to meet the staffing needs of the clinic Supports Family Practice Providers

Job Summary:

• Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care
• Assists physicians during examinations and procedures
• Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse
• Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Performs a variety of tasks
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Requires an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Must have a license to practice professional nursing in the state of Kentucky
• Interpersonal skills to successfully interact with patients, guests, physicians, and other employees
