Description




Minimum 9-12 years of experience in Android development, able to ensure and advise teams on best practices.




Proven track record of developing at least three Android apps, with at least one available on Google Play.




Expertise in Kotlin, Android SDK, Android Studio, Jetpack Compose, XML, and MVVM/Clean Architecture.




Experience with Coroutines, Flow, Hilt/Dagger, Retrofit, REST APIs, Room Database, Firebase, and Git.




Proficiency in CI/CD processes and mobile performance optimization techniques.




Prior experience in the Banking or FinTech domain is preferred, with an understanding of industry-specific requirements.




Strong analytical skills, with the ability to read and analyze code effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain high-quality Android applications for the banking and financial sector, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
Collaborate with agile teams to enhance the mobile components of the Backbase platform, contributing to the development of next-generation mobile apps.
Collaborate with the customer support team to implement hotfixes and improve core product quality.
Ensure that applications provide an exceptional user experience and adhere to security standards.
Review and test code quality, conduct code reviews, and compile documentation to ensure future-proofing of products.
Experiment with new technologies like fingerprint authentication and retina scan recognition to enhance product offerings.
Travel internationally to engage clients and deliver solutions, ensuring alignment with client needs and expectations.
Advise and mentor junior developers, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Requirements
