Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and initial evaluations of patients to identify their mental health needs and diagnoses. \n

- Provide one-on-one counseling sessions to empower patients as they work through emotional and psychological difficulties. \n

You will primarily work with individuals who are experiencing trauma injuries, which can manifest in a variety of psychological symptoms. This patient population often faces distinct struggles associated with their traumatic experiences, requiring a compassionate, individualized approach to treatment. Your role will involve listening empathetically, diagnosing mental health conditions, and implementing therapeutic strategies designed for healing and recovery.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution. \n
- Valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) qualification in New York State. \n
- A minimum of three years of experience working directly with trauma patients or in related mental health settings. \n
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and communication purposes. \n
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate patient interactions and interdisciplinary collaboration. \n

- Experience using Salesforce and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is highly desirable. \n
