In this position you will work closely with project team members to assist in the collection, design, creation and maintenance of geospatial data.Responsibilities:Produce spatial and non-spatial data while ensuring technical accuracy and logical consistency in data processing and outputs.Produce high-quality geospatial products by employing cartographic principles, industry standards, and custom solutions.Identify and solve technical problems under supervision.Conduct field data collection using GPS and mobile technologies.Daily activities include:Utility and municipal data entry and correctionsConducting GIS analysisGenerating GIS deliverablesSupporting customer GIS needsConduct field data collectionSupport asset management activitiesRequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Geography, Planning, Environmental Science, Engineering, Computer Science or related field.Demonstrable competence with: ArcGIS Online, Field Maps, Survey 123, ArcGIS Pro, Microsoft Suite, GPS technologiesExperience or education related to: ArcGIS Enterprise, AutoCAD, Microstation and basic programming/scripting using Python, Javascript and HTML 5 are beneficial.Must be very well organized, detail oriented, and possess strong problem-solving abilities.
