Corewell Health Children's department of behavioral health is growing to add a BC/BE Child & Adolescent Outpatient and Consult Liaison Psychiatrist at Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital. This is a great opportunity to be part of a new and growing Child & Adolescent Psychiatry program at Corewell Health! The Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist will split their time between Outpatient and Consult Liaison settings. Role Responsibilities Splits time between Outpatient and Consult Liaison settings. Outpatient Psychiatry: practice within the Dearborn Behavioral Health Clinic, provide diagnostic psychiatric assessment for child & adolescent patients, medication follow-up visits, and offer a mix of in‑person and tele‑psychiatry visits (90‑minute new, 30‑minute return visits). Provide education to medical students, residents, and fellows. Consult Liaison Psychiatry: collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide telemedicine psychiatric consultation to pediatric units and emergency department for pediatric patients with primary psychiatric conditions or psychiatric comorbidities. Evaluate, diagnose, recommend treatment, and facilitate referrals for long‑term care. Perform inpatient consultations for patients with psychiatric issues. Participate in QI/QA and peer review initiatives as requested. Complete health system clinical and safety mandatories to ensure corporate compliance. Maintain timely clinical documentation in accordance with health system, payer, and regulatory requirements. Undertake faculty responsibilities when required, including delivery of lectures, committee service, or other participation. Participate in activities related to improving operational and financial performance, quality and patient satisfaction as requested.
