Travel Package:

Travel Rate (based on 36 hours): Hrly $15.33Stipend (Lodging $364.00 + M&I $154.00) = $518.00

Total Comp :$1,069.88

Travel Eligibility: Candidates must live at least 50+ miles from the facility to qualify for Travel Pay.

Shift Details:

• Days - 3x12s, 36 hours /week

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature without loss of efficiency or composure.

• Recognize the rights and responsibilities of patient confidentiality.

• Convey empathy and compassion to those experiencing grief, pain or trauma.

• Report to other staff members about any changes in patient condition.

• Relate to others in a manner that creates a sense of teamwork and cooperation.

• Communicate effectively and therapeutically with people from every socioeconomic background.

• Incorporate guest relations into daily activities.

• Able to provide a CNA level of patient care, age specific, cultural, physical and psychosocial wellbeing.

• The employee supports the hospital mission, vision, values, policies, and procedures.

• Participates in required education for DNV programs as applicable to position (reference program education curriculum).

• Agency nurses will be floated to other departments where they are qualified to perform patient care before core staff is floated.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current, valid, and unrestrictedOR license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

• High School graduate/GED.

• BLS certificate.

• CRASE training. If travel assignment extends beyond a 6-month period, CRASE training will be required.

• Previous experience as ward clerk with computerized order entry and CNA providing direct care, computer experience.

• Bilingual and/or English Spanish speaking preferred.

• Copy of current, completedPrimary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
