As a Security Officer Field Patrol in Omaha, NE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic tech location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site policies, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations.
• Support day-to-day operations at the location by assisting with alarm response, monitoring for after-hours activity, and following Allied Universal reporting procedures for incidents and observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
